Description
The PO-Corrèze metre-gauge system was one of the largest in France, where such railways once ‘filled-in’ the railway network in areas where it was difficult or unremunerative to build standard-gauge lines. Here, an 0-4-4-0 Mallet arrives in the attractive small town of Uzerche, not far from Tulle. The viaduct still exists, but the train has gone.
